Speaking – Page 104 Language Log –
- Students
will match the pictures with the name of the animals.
- The
students are to translate the name of the animals that are given in
exercise 1 to Spanish first to be able to match the pictures.
- After
that they must write the letter in the description that belongs to.
Reading – page 120 Reading log –
- Name
of the reading is “What is Evolution?”
- Students
must translate the key words in page 120 of Reading Log first.
- Then
read and translate page 120 and 121, also translate the words in blue
and find their meaning.

TUESDAY
24TH MARCH

Writing – Page 105 Language Log –
- Students
must read the squared titled “Writing Dialogue” first to understand what
a dialogue is and how to identify it.
- Exercise
1 – Read the story and underline the dialogues.
- Exercise
2 – Work on this exercise choosing one of the options listed in that
section squares and make sure your story contains the two questions
asked in the exercise.
Vocabulary
test March 20th – from vocabulary list: cumbersome,
indignant, exasperate, accustom, establish, pledge, prone, blizzard, bondage,
revive - have students translate those words to Spanish for them to find
their meaning.
Write
one English sentence for each word.

Vocabulary – Page 106 Language Log –
- Translate
the evolution words in the squared located at the bottom of the page
before starting the work.
- Exercise
1 - Play audio #53 https://drive.google.com/open?id=1GhAw5kH5VQfkBc5h-S7Pzw630swOGxEW to
be able to complete the song, listen to the song as many as needed to
fill out the lines.
- Exercise
2 – Mark the verbs and the nouns from the vocabulary entry (Evolution
square located in left bottom of the page).
- Exercise
3 – Answer the three questions from this exercise.
Reading – page 122 and 123
Reading Log – Read and translate page 122 and 123, translate the animal
groups in page 123.

Grammar – Page 107 Language Log –
- Students
must read the “Relative Clauses in subjects” located in the right lower
corner of the page first.
- Then
read “The Extraordinary Honeybee” article.
- Complete
exercise 2 – rewriting sentences provided here (e.g. The glands are on
the worker bees’ heads. (…that produce royal jelly…) this sentence
should go in the following order: The glands that produce royal jelly
are on the worker bees’ heads.
Vocabulary
and grammar log –
- Students
must work on page 66, 67, and 68 which are lesson 3, 4 and 5.
- These
lessons are connected to Language Log pages 100 to 104.
