Activity for day 1 – Write half
page of what students did on their two weeks of school break.
Introduction to topic 7 – Language
log page 114 – “What influences who I am?” – students are to answer the two
exercises in page 114 and get a general idea of what we will cover in this
topic.

TUESDAY
|
First students need to translate
vocabulary words in the “Social Media Collocations” square located in bottom
left corner of page 116.
Vocabulary – Language log page 116
– students are to watch the video Level 5 Episode 7 – (CLICK
LINK) – answer the questions in exercise 1, complete exercise
2 and 3 from same page.

WEDNESDAY
|
Grammar – Language log page 117 –
First students must understand the content in the “Verb + Infinitive or
Gerund” section located in the bottom right corner of page 117. Then listen
to audio number 55 (CLICK
LINK) and answer exercise 1 and 2 from page 117.
Watch the link about the book
called “Inventors who changed the world” (CLICK LINK) and use your notebook to take notes to list the name of the
inventors and their corresponding invention.

THURSDAY
|
Reading log – page 129 - Read the
information about the two readings that we will cover in this topic. Go to
page 130 – translate the “Key words” located in the top left corner. Read and
translate the reading “The Herb Lady” from page 130 and 131.
Listen to your favorite English
song and write the lyrics in your notebook.

FRIDAY
|
Vocabulary test for Week 2 April
24th – Study the words, translate them, and write a sentence with
each word.
Vocabulary and Grammar Log – page
76 and 77 – answer all the exercises on these two pages. If you have any
questions refer to your Language log pages 116 and 117.
